Most SMEs that receive private equity investment have the same hidden problem: their financial infrastructure was not built for the scrutiny that comes with it. Month-end close takes weeks. Management reporting is assembled in spreadsheets overnight before board meetings. The numbers exist — but nobody fully trusts them. For PE firms trying to manage risk, drive growth, and prepare for exit, that is not a gap. It is a liability.

I am a CPA and Head of Finance by background, and an Odoo ERP implementer by practice. That combination is rarer than it sounds. Most ERP consultants are technically capable but financially inexperienced — they build systems that work, but not systems that produce what an investor actually needs to see. My starting point is always the output: clean P&L, real-time cash visibility, budget vs actuals, a board pack that holds up under due diligence. Then I build the system around it.

I work with a small number of clients at a time, typically introduced through PE operating partners and M&A advisors across Australia.
